This course is for qualified First Aiders who wish to renew their First Aid at Work certificate. It is essential that all First Aiders are in possession of a valid and in date First Aid at Work Certificate issued by an approved training provider, which must be shown at the start of this course.
The role and responsibilities of the first aider, Incident and casualty assessment, unresponsive casualties (including seizure), Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Choking, Wounds and bleeding, Shock, Minor injuries, Injuries to bones and joints, sprains and strains, Head injuries and spinal injuries, Chest injuries, Burns and scalds, Eye injuries, Poisons, Anaphylaxis, Heart attack and angina, Stroke, Epilepsy, Asthma, Diabetes.
All Delegates will undertake a formal assessment on completion of the course. First Aid at work certificates are valid for three years and HSTS will send an automatic reminder to the customer three months prior to the expiry date of the certificate. Certificates can be renewed by attending a 2 day first aid at work re-qualifying training course.
